I am the Chief Science Officer for Wuqu’ Kawoq | Maya Health Alliance, an organization which I cofounded in 2006.
I split time between Guatemala and Boston. I am a practicing internist and pediatrician. I am an Assistant Professor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and my clinical affiliations are with the Departments of General Internal Medicine and Global Health Equity at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
I mentor medical and graduate students with an interest in global health.
